Gunsmithing capabilities
Every firearm and project is different. These categories describe common capabilities, while final recommendations begin with inspection.

From a broken component to a firearm that needs careful restoration, our team can evaluate the condition and recommend the right work.
Correct mounting and alignment create a stronger foundation before you confirm zero on the range or in the field.
Upgrade controls, accessories, and firearm configuration with work completed around fit, function, and intended use.

For shooters pursuing better performance, our team can evaluate the entire rifle system and develop a focused plan.

Drop off and evaluation required
Final pricing depends on firearm condition, parts, materials, and the scope of work confirmed during evaluation.

Accuracy work
Accuracy work may begin with glass bedding and continue through inspection of barrel fouling, crown condition, bases, rings, scope mounting, and other factors affecting the complete system. Some long range projects may require more advanced accurizing or barrel work after evaluation.
Discuss an Accuracy ProjectWhat to expect
Specialty work starts with the firearm in hand. Bring it to the department so the team can inspect the condition and understand your goals.
Visit the Gunsmithing Department with the unloaded firearm and explain the concern, goal, or performance issue.
A gunsmith inspects the firearm, identifies required work, and determines whether parts or additional diagnostics are needed.
The team confirms the recommended service, estimated cost, and expected timing before work moves forward.
When service is complete, staff will contact you and review the completed work at pickup.

Timing and evaluation
Turnaround varies with project complexity, firearm condition, parts availability, current workload, outside finishing, and required testing. The department will provide the best available expectation after evaluation, but specialty work should not be planned around an unconfirmed deadline.
Barrel threading and other specialty projects require firearm drop off and evaluation before pricing and timing can be confirmed.
Bring us the project
Visit the department with the unloaded firearm and explain the problem, goal, or performance you want. A hands on evaluation is the best place to begin.
